Taijiquan and Qigong are Chinese cultural exercises which promote mental and bodily health through continual movement of body, mind and qi energy. Learn the exercises and philosophy of Taiji & Qigong from Sifu Larry Tolbert, a lifelong Pittsburgh resident who has learned his arts from several revered masters.
Private Lessons are available. Sifu Larry currently teaches private students in small classes on Saturdays and Sundays.
Sifu Larry and his classes have frequented been spotted at: - the Union Project, 801 North Negley Ave.;
- the Morningside Sr. Ctr.;
- the Southside Market House;
- the Millvale Senior Center;
- the YMCA on Blvd of the Allies;
- the West Penn Rec Center in Polish Hill;
- sometimes on the sidewalk near the South end of Phipps Conservatory.
Nature, fresh air and lots of people are conducive to both learning and displaying the art form.
