7 Pittsburgh Valentine’s date ideas that don’t involve food

If you’re anything like me (which clearly you are because you’re reading this right now) you have yet to plan a romantic valentine’s day extravaganza for you and your significant other. Have no fear! All the great restaurants may have run out of reservations, but there’s more to do in Pittsburgh than eat.

1. Heat things up with pottery and painting
Kiln-n-time, located on Penn Avenue in Lawrenceville, is a hot spot for a creative date night. This B.Y.O.B. pottery and painting studio opened shop in 2002.

You can paint a canvas, a wine glass or a beer mug. And if that’s not your jam, you can glaze some hand-spun bowls or figurines. Stop in Tuesday – Saturday from noon to 6 P.M. or schedule a date night later in the evening.
