Judge Andrew Napolitano to Receive the 2018 St. Barnabas Hance Award Conviction, compassion and determination. These are qualities of a true leader, and they are just a few of the many criteria that a St. Barnabas Hance Award winner must possess. Judge Andrew P. Napolianto will receive the 2018 St. Barnabas Hance Award at the 118th Founder’s Day Celebration on April 26, 2018 at the Pittsburgh Marriott North in Cranberry Twp. Judge Napolitano is a nationally-recognized champion of personal freedom. Judge Napolitano is the youngest life-tenured Superior Court judge in the history of the State of New Jersey serving from 1987-1995. In 1998 Judge Napolitano joined Fox News Channel and currently serves as the senior judicial analyst. With great conviction and honesty, Judge Napolitano lectures nationally on the U.S. Constitution, the rule of law, civil liberties in wartime and human freedom. He is an outspoken analyst of the legal system, most fervent critic of government intervention into personal lives and commercial transactions, and most passionate defender of the Constitution. Judge Napolitano has authored nine books on the U.S. Constitution, two of which have been New York Times Best Sellers, with his most recent book being Suicide Pact: The Radical Expansion of Presidential Powers and the Lethal Threat to American Liberty. Founder’s Day will bring together corporate sponsors, prominent business people and community leaders to honor Judge Andrew Napolitano for his contributions. The event begins with a 5:30 p.m. cocktail reception, followed by a dinner celebration. Following the Hance Award presentation, Judge Napolitano will deliver a speech inspired by his career in public service. The Hance Award was named in honor of St. Barnabas founder Gouverneur Hance, who was inspired to provide medical care for poverty stricken and chronically ill and injured men and boys in 1900.
