A Joyous Sound by Resonance Works Pittsburgh

12/7/2018 @ 8:00pm - 12:00 AM Westminster Presbyterian Church 2040 Washington Road Pittsburgh, PA 15241

This December, Resonance Works expands its holiday tradition with A Joyous Sound! - a musical treat inspired by and in tribute to the brilliant holiday concerts of Robert Page. Pittsburgh’s Grammy award-winning conductor, arranger, and composer, Page created holiday concerts known for a brilliant mélange of classical music of substance and elegant and nostalgic arrangements of beloved holiday classics. The Resonance Chamber Orchestra, Festival Chorus, and soloists will perform works including Vivaldi’s Concerto for Four Violins, Finzi’s In terra pax, selections from Handel’s Messiah, arrangements by Arthur Harris, and of course Page’s “A Joyous Sound.” Featured soloists include baritone Daniel Teadt, soprano Lara Lynn McGill, and violinists Sandro Leal-Santiesteban, Dawn Posey, Anne Moskal, and Ashley Freeburn. These family-friendly concerts will be under 90 minutes with goodies from Sweet Bites Cookies for all to enjoy!
